Isabel Mitchell founded Ambience in 1975, after twelve years as head of her own design firm. Since then she has established Ambience as one of the leading designers and manufacturers of the finest custom contemporary furniture and accessories, specializing in innovative design and exotic materials.

Ambience serves the contract and residential markets. Its hospitality clients  include the Wynn organization in Las Vegas as well as exclusive hotels in New York City, Tokyo, Atlantic City, and Miami's South Beach. The famed Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco was among the early successes for Ambience.

Today, Mitchell continues to build Ambience's sterling reputation for unique design and its role as a leading specialist in providing customized finishes and sizes to meet any specification.

The Ambience line is shown at Summer Hill, Ltd., 979 Third Avenue, New York City, in Suite 532. It is also shown at DCOTA in Dania, Florida.
